AFBN ANNUAL MEETING 2022 CASABLANCA MOROCCO

The 4th Annual general meeting of African Freight Bridge Networks (AFBN), a network of agents working in the field of international transport in Casablanca, brought together more than 100 participants from the transport and transportation sectors logistics from 40 countries. The latter are working for the development of this sector which has enormous potential but under exploited in Africa.

The main orientations of this 4th annual general meeting are to reinforce the presence of African companies in the network. “We want more African members. Throughout the network, there are only 35% Africans and we would like to have 70% of Africans and only 30% of Westerners to federate the actors of the continent and develop the transport and the logistics “, supports the president Afbn network,

In his view, this is important because the lucrative African logistics market, estimated at billions of dollars, creates many jobs across the value chain. “In Africa, the logistics sector is one of the most profitable sectors,”

The Afbn network, launched last year for the promotion of the sector in Africa, is today rich of 150 members. It offers a platform for meeting business to business (B to B) to ensure the security of transactions.
